We enjoyed spending several hours walking through the grounds and the shipyard. The Charles W Morgan was a wonderful wooden whaler ship. It was great that they let you walk up and go inside the LA Dutton that they are refurbishing. There is a lot of history in this area. We loved it!

I couldn’t rave enough about this museum. It’s magnificent. It’s so amazing to go back in time. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend to do a little research ahead of time to determine the times and locations of their presentations.

A really great museum/village. There is something for everyone. You can buy a day ticket and go a second time in the next week. There is so much to see you need that second day.
Bring a refillable water bottle and a sun hat.
